Project | Personal Branding Presentation
With recruiters and hiring managers using social media and the internet to source and vet candidates, gone are the days when resumes and cover letters were the only tools used for conducting a job search. Competition in the job market is fierce. As a result of this intense competition, differentiating oneself from the rest of the job seekers is becoming increasingly more difficult. Today, having a strong online presence is imperative and a host of tools and resources should be used to develop a unique personal brand, define your value as a candidate and increase your chances of getting hired or moving up the career ladder.
"Personal Branding: Getting the Interview" is a training module that defines the importance and value of identifying, creating and managing a professional personal brand.

Project | Generation Next: How to Attract & Retain Millennials
Set to become the majority of the workforce in the next decade, the Millennial generation
(born between 1980 – 1995) brings with it a new set of expectations and behaviors that challenge
organizations in the areas of talent acquisition, retention and engagement. Employee tenure is
shrinking, loyalty waning as the Baby Boomers exit the workforce and Millennials become the
majority in the workforce. This costly practice of “job hopping” between organizations creates a
skills, knowledge and productivity gap that must be addressed. This literature review explores
existing qualitative and quantitative studies that address why Millennials job hop, this
generation’s impact on an organization’s culture, engagement, retention and succession planning
practices and explores what organizations can do to attract and retain this generation of the workforce.
what organizations can do to attract and retain this generation of the
workforce.
